Even goldfish get suicidal!!!

A goldfish has been out on suicide watch after many attempts to kill himself!! Finny is monitored regularly after many a time leaping out of his tank, going on hunger strike and trying to stun himself. I though goldfish had a 3 second memory!! Would he be able to remember how to jump out of the bowl, remember not to eat etc!! What would you do if this was your goldfish?? I would put something over the top of the tank so that he wouldnt be able to jump out, as for not eating, there isnt much you can do about that. I mean its not as if you can force feed him is it?? lol

How bizarre, I wonder why it does that. Mind you it must be mind numbing to have to keep swimming around the same environment and seeing the same things day after day. Must be a rather lonely life being a fish, but I do know from experience of having goldfish that they definately have a longer memory than people say they do.
