why do we really come online?????

Well I come online for my work everyday. In between I check my personal emails to get in touch with the family members who do not stay close by and our only contact is thru emails. And I am on mylot for the wonderful friends that I have here.

Well, I come online both to amuse myself and to learn new things. I gained lots of random skills online (such as lock picking...) Obviously, if amusing myself and earning some money happen to occur at the same time, that's even better. I also tend to spend a lot of time looking at the news. That, however, is closer to an addiction than anything else.

I think the inernet is where you can get both the good and bad information-many people think they can make a living on the inernet-infact some really do, but because people generally know the power of thy internet, they have tended to scam people here and that makes me very sad.

being here is better then watching tv and being alone

i come online for mylotting,orkutting and ckeck mails and sometimes read latest news....but i'll do all these stuff,when i've nothing specific to do.. Goodday, Sri

It's when we have nothing else to do?

To keep in contact with my family and friends, through email and social networking sites and chatting too. That's why I come online, to keep in touch with them, to find out what's happening in the big wide world and to socialise when I am bored and have nothing else to do. Also to make a little bit of income through mylot and other survey sites.

i'm always online to kill this boredom since i'm over bored here at home.

Hello and thanks for the friend request...I accepted it. In response to your discussion...I cannot answer for anyone else as to why they are online but I am here for a variety of reasons. I am a free lance writer for a number of local papers and national magazines and love to share ideas. That was my original idea for joining Mylot. After being here for a year I came on line here to connect with valued friends I have made from all over the world. I am not looking for a mate because I have the love of my life and we've been together 18 years. Mylot is the only discussion forum I have ever belonged to and I enjoy it a lot when time permits for me to be here. I have found it to be a community filled with numerous caring people and it is a fun and enjoyable place to spend some time. Raia

Before, i just go online for the online games. But later on I find ways to earn while playing online and through some friends I arrived here in My Lot and now i'm addicted to my Lot. and my day wouldn't be complete i f I cant be here in My Lot.... Go Team Philippines...
