Jules Vern "Journey To The......"

After the thetre I wanted to go see The Dark Knight was closed due to a power outage I decided to pay at a different thetre to see a movie. I ended up seeing Journey To The Center Of The Eart in 3-D. Let me say that the 3-D effect was well worth the price of the ticket. The story line faltered as far as according to the book wetc but the visual aspect was awesome. there were points where everyone there reached out for something it seemed so real. Have you been to a 3-D movie in Digital at all? Have you seen Journey...3-D? What did you think?

I have gone to the IMAX things at the zoo, and other places, it seems everything is so real. My son took his family to see Journey the other day, they said it was awesome, so I will take my kids when I get together enough to pay for all 7 of us. It is an expensive outing for us to go to the theater. Every once in a while we try to splurge, but usually wait for the movie to come to DVD, but in cases like this it wouldn't be the same. Now see this movie at an I-Max in 3-D then.
I saw it on the regular screen.
I can only imagine what it would be like on I-Max.
Whaoaaaa! $9 a ticket isn't cheap.

We just got this movie today in the mail from Netflix. We started watching some of it but was too tired and went to bed. We haven't seen much of it yet for me to actually give it a rating. I am glad to know that it is a good movie. I will have to pay close attention to the visuals and the special affects. I am not sure if it is in 3-D though. I have never seen a 3-D movie.

I have not seen this yet- but I can't wait to! I love 3D movies. I took my daughter to see Hannah Montana in 3D about 4 months ago. I have heard mixed reviews on this movie- Journey.... I know I won't watch it unless it's in 3D.

I'm so glad you posted this! I've been wanting to see that movie but wasn't sure it was worth it. I saw the one with Pat Boone way back when..I loved that one. Brendon Frasier is a hunk, I really like his movies. I guess Mom and I will go see that one today rather than Batman, which will probably be around for another week at least.

Gosh I cannot remember the last 3-D film that I saw. It might have been Jaws actually. The Journey to the center of the earth looks a pretty good film actually, glad you enjoyed it anyway!
