Do you worry too much when you get tired?

Right now it's just past 3 AM (EST) and for some reason I'm
still up. I've had insomnia lately, probably
due to caffiene consumption.
I've cut back some, but still I stay up late.
This past hour has been pretty rough for me.
Since cutting back on my caffiene, I get tired easily.
And when I'm tired, my brain races around concocting
scenarios. You know, those "What if" type situations.
What if our car breaks down?
What if our house burns down?
What if the world collides with the sun?
Of course, these are silly "what if's."
Most likely none of them will happen.
I just worry too much when I'm tired.
Most times I watch TV and keep my brain occupied.
But not tonight!
Do you worry too much when you're tired?

I'm a person who worries and ponders to much too.
I try to take time to myself and take time off pondering by doing stuff I like and that will relax me. Take a bath, write on mylot, pet my cats or something like that. A purring cat can really suit me.
I'm sorry to hear you suffer from insomnia, it can be very tiring if you can't find the peace to rest at night. I wish you all the best.

I'm fortunate in that my leel of worry does't go up or down depending on how tired I am. I worry when I thik I hae something o worry abou, not because I'm ired.

My mind seems to go into hibernation when I am tired and still awake. I go into a fog zone and even though I may be functional my brain is not working at full capacity. I avoid caffine but do remember those days when my mind would be racing and jumping from subject to subject without any control. I am pretty much a happy go lucky guy and try to not let things bother me so I do not worry to much.

Yeah, I think I do worry more when I'm tired. And I rehash old things in my mind. Things that bothered me years ago come up, and then I start analyzing situations that never needed to be analyzed. I hate when that happens. I am an insomniac as well, and I hate taking sleeping pills. But if I go three days without sleep I give in and take one.
