Well I bought a lot of top soil Saturday. I also bought 30 bricks that were all on sale at Home Depot. I had other plans for these but the wife had a coupon for plants and we also bought one got, one free of these Black Eyed Susans. Well my grapes popped up very late June and look healthy so we decided to help then survive for next year. I redid the area so it looks a lot better and it is more free of the weeds and tree roots etc. I added some of my compost I have been making as well. First time I have ever made and used it really. Kind of cool to know I did it all on my own. I have also laid a large tarp on an area of the yard along the back fence to kill off the grass for another garden area next year. A busy Sunday morning/afternoon for me. Now I am off to meet a myLot friend of mine for the first time as well. Just wanted to share this here qwas all. Thanks all and have a great day/evening. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

You were busy today. We were lazy and that is okay, too. We got up, went to church, heard our new preacher, went to Sunday School, hurried home for a quick lunch, took snacks and went to the lake for two hours. Driving home we decided what to do for dinner and went home and did it. Then I cut hubby's hair. He is watching TV, I am on the computer. We will go to bed early. What kind of bricks did you get.

I did not plan on doing any gardening today at all actually. The wife wanted the lawn mowed and as she did that I looked at the grape area and saw this vision that's phottoed here. That's how I do a lot of things. Most times it's a spur of the moment thing. They are paving stones actually and only 44 cents each. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hi GRANDPA BOB! Another beautiful creation my friend! I really admire what you did in your garden. I wouldn't be surprise if one day, you will start a nursery/plant business of your own. The time, love and care you give to your plants is immeasurable and that is one of the reasons why your plants are really growing healthy and beautiful. Take care and God Bless!

Woke up at 5 a.m. to tremps of 79 degrees with a dewpoint at 75. Real feel temp was 84. Hot, sticky, and very muggy today. They are saying 90's again. This weekend we are looking at high 90's and humid. My asthma hates this humid chit. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hi GRANDPA BOB! Oh, that must be really hot out there. In my end, we are having lots of rain due to another typhoon that has visited our country but it is moving away from our area now. So, we're expecting to have a sunny day tomorrow (I hope!). Take care always..God Bless!

Another job well done by Grandpa BobYou always do such lovely work. I think I can learn alot just by listening to how you do your stuff and will be able to do by own sometime when I am able to. It's nice that you and your wife get to do this kind of thing together it's a fun project for the both of you and you both benefit from it. You have had a busy day so yeah go and meet up with your new mylot friend and have fun enjoy.
