Do you do the framework guide?

I have no formal training in art and I don't have any knowledge on technical things about it. I just relied on practice. So, I don't make the framework (erm...I don't know what it's actually called ^.^') when drawing the anatomy. Still, I think I create artworks fair enough. Does anyone else NOT begin with the guide as well? Just curious. :D

Some can draw with out any guides or that framework. Those I consider being cool since even without the visual guides in their work, they can still present proportioned artwork.. I'm even thinking that they can already see the guides and they just draw the details on paper.
while Others still go along the basics.
I also happen to have no formal training when it comes to art and I just drew as I wished and read books that concerned on drawing, mostly 'How to Draw' books that would either be manga or anime..
When I first started drawing, I really didn't follow any guide, as long as it looked close enough to an actual anatomy, that's fine by me but, we can't deny self improvement as I did when I saw other artworks of other people.
So before, I also didn't go along with any guides but, as time went by, I also went along with guides.

Well, I'm not sure if I'm correct. It's been years though since I've drawn seriously.
Is it the one where you draw a wire frame image then draw the other parts? I used to. Well, you know the Rockman days.
But I just drew straight up with out guides. Now that you mentioned it, I remember my characters having deformities.

Hahaha, those Rockman days! :P
I got fed up with the same legs so I tried doing the real thing. It's been more than a decade and I've improved a lot. :D ;)
