The horror: Joey Salvati makes wooden paddles for 'disciplining' children. He advertises on his Web site that he will send a free paddle to anyone who requests one. Requestee pays shipping and handling.

The shudder: FOX Television Stations, Inc. was so impressed with Mr. Salvati's bathroom epiphany that they gave him free advertising. On June 29, 2007, this notice appeared on the "my FOX - Los Angeles" Web site.

The Comic Relief: Joey Salvati says God visited him while he was taking a shower and instructed him to do this, and that he will keep doing it until God tells him to stop.

Why would god visit him in the shower? Pervert! jk. I want a free paddle! I'd never spank my kids with one but I like to get spanked, grrr. Not usually with a paddle though, but it would look nice on my wall with my collection of whips and riding crops.

Well, I don't know about the God telling him to do it part, lol, but I do know this, when I was growing up, my parents were pretty strict. My mother would use what ever was in reach on our backsides. The fear of it kept me from doing a lot of stupid things. Neither I or any of my brothers ever had any run ins with the law or school and we all turned out to be productive and social members of society who had respect for it's laws and social rules of conduct. And non of us were traumatized or needed therepy because we were "abused".

Some of these whips and boards or whatever are said to be used on babies. Babies who are from age three months to three years.

A baby of three months doesn't understand much of anything except when it's hungry and when the rear end is wet. Teething tots will cry because their gums hurt and they don't know why. Putting a baby oral gel baby strength Tylenol would give little one relief and you silence.
