Oh no!!!! Here come the rains again...

And so the streets are flooded again. My officemates scurry home, armed with umbrellas, jackets, flip flops and sandals. They are going to brave the rain and floods just to get home early.
Me, I love it when it rains. I love the sound of water pattering on the roof. It lulls me to sleep - but this is not good on Monday mornings when I need to rush to work. When it rains I feel as if the world is getting a shower, literally. It feels so fresh and clean afterwards. The trees and grass look so green afterwards.

Yes that is really true. I wish rains would just come on Saturdays or Sundays since it really is a good feeling that you are safe in the house tucked in you bed and loves to hear those rain falling on your roof. It's just not comfortable when it falls on a working day and you have to really wear jacket and umbrella and if its that strong then you have to face jumping into flooded areas.

You got what I meant, and you said it perfectly too! I love it when rain patters gently on the roof on Saturday mornings and you draw the covers closer and tuck your head even deeper into your pillow. Isn't being home safe the greatest feeling in the world? Happy mylotting

That's one of the pleasures of being single (as you mentioned in your other post). You can just do anything you want anytime without worrying about the chores and taking care of someone else. Plus you have all the time to read anything you want. That's one of the things I really miss - the quiet times alone with a book. Still... Happy mylotting and take care
