Know anyone who's in love with themself?

Another person's discussion got me to thinking and well I was just wondering if anyone has known anyone who loves themselves. Not a simple, First you must love yourself before loving anyone else, but someone who loves themself so much that they put themself first before ANYONE else and they are also a bit self centered to a degree.
I can't say that I have met anyone that is completely like this but an old friend of mine can be a bit self centered and a few of her own opinions differ from mine.
So has anyone met anyone like that? Who were they to you? Did you stay friend's with them for long?

Being in love with themselves literally is a psychological sickness called narcisism (i'm not sure of the spelling). To find out why is this called like this, read the greek mythology about narcisus.

I can not say that I know anyone who is completely in love with themselves and always put consider themselves first before everyone else,and I agree your old friend can be a self centered at times,and a few of her opinions definitely differ from yours and that is part of the reason you and her are not friends anymore,and I am glad because I think she is trouble.

i noe a fren who's soooooo in love wit herself.
we call her self obsessed n she thinks tht the world revolves around her.
it doesnt hurt tht she's gorgeous n rich too.
m stil frens wit her tho =) but sometimes she'll get on my nerves. hehe.
