I just got done watching Juno and I loved it. Although it was kind of sad but mostly funny. I like the reality of the movie. I thought it was quite good all the way around. Have you seen it? Did you like it/dislike it? Why?

I thought that it was a good movie. Even though some thought that it promoted young women to have babies. I didn't look at it that way. I was good for the fact that Juno was still in high school and she knew that she couldn't take care of the baby. So she made sure that the baby had a good family to grow up in. That was really smart of her. This is just a movie to let young girls know that your life doesn't end if you have a baby. Even if you keep it, just get up and keep going no matter what. That is what I got out of the movie, no matter what keep going.

i've seen it and liked it a lot... but i hope juno's parents decided to keep the baby. It only shows that Juno's own parents are not good ones.

I liked it for two reasons,1) because young kids do get pregnant and often hide the pregnancy and end up hurting the bbay once born. or even getting abortions. i feel this movie was showing teens there is another option and option that is an easy process a family get a child and a child gets a family. and you still get to live your life afterwards,,no abortions and no hurt bays. Also the seoncd reasons is at the end. she still allows the lady to adopt her baby. it may be hard to be a single parent. but that doesnt mean its impossible... yes the chilod in most cases wont have as much as a full family will but kids who have less tend to appreciate things more in life then thoes who get spoiled and get what they want whenever. they can replace things like its no thing.... I really beleive that a single mother should beale to adopt a child just because she is single doesnt mean she wouldnt make a good mom or wont beable to provide for them.

Juno was intelligent, but appropriately immature for a teenager. I don't think she was from an upper middle class family, though. I think middle class perhaps. I think teen mothers can be intelligent. It only takes one "mistake" or unprepared moment, just as what happened to Juno and Paulie. I don't know...I thought Juno was like a few teen moms I knew when I was a teenager myself. Not all teen moms are like that, of course, but then moms of all ages are all different kinds of people. The only thing I thought that was a bit unrealistic about Juno was some of the smart alec teen speak she had. Just some, not all. Some teens do speak that way, but maybe not to that extreme.

I just saw it for the first time last week. I was a little late on the hype, I guess. It was a pretty good movie, but nothing to call home about. I felt like there was too much hype for this film. But it was great to see something different, so I won't complain. It was well written and Ellen Page is awesome.
