The first thing to consider is who will be with us. Is he/she ready to give up some things, like a little bit of freedom, by starting to live a married life? It really depends on the couple. Some are practical where they plan ahead how they would be able to raise a family and prepare their kids for their future. There are also some who have been together long enough as friends/girl or boyfriends but when it comes to married life, they start to break down and realize they aren't ready yet or meant to be.
But the most important thing is that if the couple are ready to embrace the fact that they will be spending their lives together and form a family and is ready to give a part of each of their lives for it, they're more than ready. Take care.

hi there, i totally agree with what you have share in here. settling down would mean a lot of adjustment for both partners. not to mention the financial part where everything is really costly nowadays. for those who are planning to settle down, this would be a good question that the couple should ask themselves, "am i ready to give up my freedom and wake up with this person for the rest of my life?" LOL. thanks for the post.

That's true. Some couple who are engaged may have had cold feet while trying to answer that question. That's the reality but it's a true test of their relationship.

I guess I am.
Once I find the right person I will.
The right person is the key to settling down.
Its not an opportunity to miss.

Yes I am ready to settle down. To be all honest I believe that once you meet the right person it doesn't matter if your ready or not, your heart feels it and you want it. Your head has no say in whether you are ready, atleast not until the last planning days of your wedding when cold feet and doubts start forming.
For those people I Would like to offer advice in saying that no matter what you should remember that your fiance loves you and you love him, that through your love and christ you will be a perfect couple.
Well I appreciate the discussion and am hoping that you are having a enjoyable time here in mylot. Have a wonderful day!
