When there is a natural disaster in your local area, are you prepared enough or do you have to go out and buy a lot of stuff to make sure you don't go hurry?

I live in south Florida and have been through a few hurricanes so I'm somewhat prepared now but there are things that I will have to buy if a storm is taking aim on my area. I have important papers in one waterproof container, candles, flashlights, a portable radio, plenty of food in the freezer that can be cooked on the grill if we lose power for an extended period of time, water and those little jug drinks. We also have three hurricane response plans depending on the track and strength of the storm which include riding it out, leaving our house to go to my brother-in-law's nearby business which is in a concrete building, or loading up and heading north for a day or two. We also make sure that we have a stash of cash available for emergencies. So, I will have to go to the store if a storm is heading for us but we usually have plenty of notice and I don't believe in waiting until the last minute.
