Which is best windows (or) Linux?

We use different operating systems in our computer. I feel that linux is good giving good security and increased speed. If we look at windows it is flexible and good looking compare to linux and easy to use. What is your opinion??

Wow, you got it on one word man. Compatibility(although Vista, I don't know, many people complains about compatibility.)

have you people tried opensuse 11 or Ubuntu. These new versions are compatiable almost with every machine. There are also as flexible as windows.

Linux is better if you're the open-source kind of guys, it offers a lot of flexibility, especially in the open-source software development field. Windows is better if you're the casual guy who wants to use your computer for fun and stuff. It's a good platform too for software development(.net). The interface is easy to use and stuff. You can play majority of games in Windows. So if you're looking for a more unique experience, it's better to use Linux, plus it's free. If you're the average joe who wants his computer lock, loaded and ready to shoot, Windows is for you. In my honest opinion, based on observation.

Just like how I've put it. Nice. I really wanted to have a linux on my PS3, so that I can exploit the power of the Cell. Weeee.

I am a software Professional. For me now LINUX is the best now. previously, when i was a casual guy, i like windows. But now I use only to play games

Windows is more compatible and user friendly operating system. Linux is good for corporate usage where stability is preferred most. For personal and business purpose, I think windows is best.

Linux is a very good operating system,it's free and powerful to programm.But it's not friendly to users.I prefer to use Windows to do daily things.

i'll go to windows.. easy to use (you've mentioned above) and i'm comfortable in it
