I respond more than I post.
Unlike some, I post to ask questions and not just start conversations.
I also find that it is easier to respond.
Thanks for reading and good luck.

I usully comment on threads started unless I have a question or notiont aht I really want to get others opinion on. I think it's a lot more fun to comment to those that have posted the discussions and see what path they were trying to take or give them that advice that they were looking for.

hi jep!
even though i have started a lot of discussions within my one year stay here at myLot, i think i am much more of a commenter/responder than a thread starter. sometimes i think its harder to start a discussion and its much easier to respond to discussions of other members. when you start a discussion, you have to make sure that all myLotters, or at least a lot of them, will understand your discussion clearly. you are thinking of a lot of people. but when you respond to a discussion, you are only thinking of the thread host. you only have to make things clear to him. although, at the back of your mind, other myLotters would read it too, your main priority is the thread host. so you are thinking of only one person.
when it comes to earning, i think they are equal if you do it both actively. however, there is much more chance to earn from starting a discussion since, when you start a discussion and you leave myLot for a while, the discussion is still there and people can see it and respond to it and you earn from it. so you earn even if you are absent here at myLot. and of course, if you are absent here, you can't respond to discussions and you won't earn.
