Do You Enjoy One Day Vacations?

Yes, I agree with you that sometimes a short break, even for a day, could be more enjoyable than a week long holidays. It depends upon the circumstances and place being visited. I also enjoy short breaks to re-charge myself.

I do love taking mini-vacations - it is nice just to get away from the hustle and bustle of ordinary life, even if it is only for a short amount of time.

I love traveling and my longest trip lasted just over one year. These days my trips tend to last two weeks but I pack lots into that time. I like weekend trip quite a lot. Next week I am planning a family camping trip for a few days so I hope that the weather will improve. Rather than just stay at home I love to go out on day trips to places of interest. I went to Stratford Upon Avon the home of Shakespeare, to Warwick Castle and to Weymouth town a coastal resort. Days out between vacations for longest periods add interest to the year. I have been to California three times in my life so far. I used Santa Monica as a base and did day trips to Venice Beach, the Universal Studios and Disneyland. From San Diego I did a day trip to Mexico. I preferred a trip to Central America when I explored the area south of Cancun.

I like going on days out but to feel like I've ha d amini holiday I need to stay over the night so I can relax without having to get up early to do stuff!! lol x
