I Struck Lottery!! =D

It's my first time striking lottery in the one year that I had bought them! Sawing the news on Wednesday night had immediately caused me to shriek for joy and jumping around in my house. Lol.
It's not much, but nevertheless, it is still a win!!
Hehe, what happened is that every time I buy lottery, I would go for the minimum sum of just $1, so if I lose, I would only lose only $1. However, I do not know why, I increased my bet on Wednesday to bet a grand total of $35. Lol, it reallys sets my heart pumping as I thought of the money that I would lose if none of the numbers that I bet on would open.
But, all things worked well and I WON!!! Hip Hip Horray!!!

Congratulations! I think the lesson here is that great things can happen when you're willing to take risks. Nothing happened when you just bet a safe $1, but once you were willing to step outside your comfort zone a little bit you became a winner. That doesn't mean you should spend that much every week necessarily -- the lottery is about as risky as an investment can get!
Does this lottery use tickets so that you got more chances to win by spending more money? If not, you really did just get very lucky. In any case, I just want to congratulate you once again. I bet you'll be a lottery player for life now!

Well, the lottery here is made up of 4 digits (4D) and there is a total of 9999 combinations. The minimum bet per combination is $1 and maximum is $100. Haha, I think i would really get hooked to buying the lottery every draw. I just get the thrill of winning! Hehe.
Infact, I had just bought the Toto combination just today, hoping to win the $8 million jackpot (in conjunction with our National Day - 08/08/08). But the chances is like 1 in 8 million to strike the jackpot. Lol.
I totally agree with you, buying just a $1 is just like 1/9999 chance of winning, however when you buy more, your chances of winning would then increase accordingly to the number of combinations bought. It's all about the possibility game.
