who should pay ?

I think it depends on who want's to pay. I have had girlfriends that have paid for me just because they got paid before I did. It's all equal in the end.

well if its a first date. the guy must pay for everything but if its second of third, and you are open with each other already and adjusted. you can split the amount. you see if its first date it would be bad to tell your date to pay the half of the bill. cause you dont know her yet and she dont know you too that much. you have to be already close before you can do that. you can also do that if the girl told you that she will pay the other half.

Well if it was me I would offer to pay my share,and if it was the first date or so I would much rather pay my share,theres no reason these days that the male should foot the bill,im not a feminist,but im a practical person.As a relationship goes on it sometimes comes down to the man to pay,but often the male is maybe the one who earns the largest salary.

Hi there, Right now its not that important who is going to pay or not.Some gf and bf sharing also thier money already even they are only gf and bf.But before when i was teenager this is big deal he should pay but if both person is earning i think it will be better to share-share or look who have more money at that moment.Or this time girl will pay and some other time guy will pay.That would be both equal. the guy should definitely pay for the both of them. unless it was the girl who asked him out 1st. =) that's my rule as a girl.
