Reaching a conclusion

Everyone has a right to their opinions about issues but not all our opinions or conclusions are correct especially when we conclude about people in our neighbourhood. This was what I learnt during my time of absence about two teenagers in my neighbourhood. One of them has been known to be very unruly and disobedient. and a drunk while the second boy was seen to be the parent’s favourite, a very good boy by every human standard. However,a twist cane when a neighbour’s house was burgled and the cops were invited .The house owner was asked if he suspected anyone in the neighbourhood, of course he answered that he suspected the unruly boy who was promptly picked up and questioned but no evidence was found against him and was released after some days in custody. However ,fingerprints picked from the scene of the burglary pointed to the other gentle teenager., he vehemently denied it and even other neighbours defended him and he was released but he made his slip about a month after when he started spending extravagantly his own share of the loot. This time he was arrested and eventually confessed to be part of the burglary, his other accomplices were arrested .Now, what would you do if you were the first teenager who was accused unjustly? And I was just wondering if really we do have any justifiable rights to jump into conclusions about anyone for that matter. There are times we discover that the ones we trust the most are the ones we ought to avoid the most to avoid getting hurt. What is your take on this?

Hi BYOLA, I have met a lot of people of this type and made me realize and reflect not to judge really any person by just their words, gestures and behavior..In my real life, I can tell those whom people will often judge as bad seems to have a good heart and who will cheer you up and who are always there to defend you...So, I am thankful for this experienced indeed! I know the first teenager who was accused feel good about it that his name was clear off of the said crime and that people will change the way they think about him!

yeah you are very right sometiems we suddenly jump into some funny conclusions about peopel and how unfortunate it becomes when we are wrong, its not good to jump condemning others without having real evidences of their being like that,i think we need to always give people a benefit of doubt before we condemn them.

Yes, you never really know! I have heard about rich people who went out looking like beggars. Just to see who was decent toward them and who was not. All is not as it seems!
