I just got one of these recently. I was leary of them cause I hate a soggy salad or wet lettuce leaves. the one i have has a drain on the bottom where the water can go out into the sink. It also has a hole in the top where you can put it under the faucet to let water run in it. It works really nice i am impressed with it. saves time and energy on drying my salad before dressing it.

Salad spinners are good for drying or seperating all sorts of things, but I don't have one as I've so little space in my kitchen. I wrap my wet salad leaves in a clean tea towel and spin it around instead. Just as effective and one less piece of clutter in my kitchen!
