Mild Numbness In My Head After Waking Up?

Often when I wake up I feel I have a mild numbness in my head, but my head doesn't feel cold and I have feeling in it if I touched it. The numbness often dissipates within 10 minutes. I believe it may be to do with compression of nerves. I have not experienced any major effects that may suggest this as dizziness, lack of concentration etc. Very occassionally, I also have the feeling of pins and needles in my head after I wake up. Can anyone shed any light on this matter?

I've never heard of anything like this. I'm sure you can do alittle research on the internet though and come up with some likely scenarios. Before my blood pressure was under control I would have weird sensations in my head like it was floating off my body and that somehow it was seperate from my body. You could check your bloodprssure just to be sure that's not the problem.
