I was just thinking about a friend who is over seas and is someone that I talk to on a regular basis they got Spanish for dummies and when i asked them about getting the Rosetta stone they said they weren't because it was to expensive and anyway this one came with cd's to help...
So my question to you is do you speak more than one language and if so how did you learn it?
Would you ever consider using one these products to help you learn a new language?

I speak some American Sign Language (ASL), some Spanish, a tiny bit of French, a tiny bit of Mandarin Chinese, some Pidgin Signed English, and can read a tiny bit of Braille (although Braille is not a foreign language).
I am learning ASL through Rocket Sign Language, Youtube videos, American Sign Language the Easy Way, Signing For Dummies, and other videos and books, learned Pidgin Signed English through various books, learned Chinese through various books and CD's, and for a while played around with Rosetta Stone in Chinese but had to quit eventually because I can't afford the price. I am right now learning beginning Braille through a correspondence school for the blind.
I have used many products to learn the foreign languages and Braille.
