Nikki Blonsky of Hairspray Update

A couple weeks ago I posted that Nikki Blonsky of Hairspray had been arrested after getting into a fight with a woman at Providenciales International Airport in Turks and Caicos. Her father was also arrested as was her friend, - America's Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden. Well, I just heard that the dad has finally been released on bail and he will have to return to Providenciales Magistrates' Court one week from today, when his trial on the charges is set to begin. He can face up to five years in jail if he is convicted on both counts. Nikki Blonsky has a trial date of December 1, 2008 and America's Next Top Model arrestee Bianca Golden is due back on September 17, 2008. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.... I just looked at an article on People.com about this, and it said that the fight was between Nikki Blonsky and her father and Bianca Golden and her family. I don't think they were friends. They were fighting over seats. How pathetic.

I loved her in Hairspray. I would have never thought she would do something to get in trouble like that. It is amazing what people do nowadays.
