Call of Duty 4...Problem?

I have an Xbox 360 and I love Call of Duty. It was basically the only game I ever touched since the second i got it. Then something awful happened, I got an error message. E 74. All black lines appear whenever i play longer then like a minute. So I did a little research and found someone said Call of Duty causes this and breaks Xbox. This same problem also happened to my neighbor. I was wondering if anyone has ever heard or Call of Duty causing this.

well i am sorry but i have no idea about the xbox system because i don't play this game on xbox i play it on my pc and it works really very well on pc. well i do get black lines sometimes on pc as well but it is because of heat problems, you should check if your xbox may be over heating. try to get it cooled and i think you will be fine.
