who will be the top in Olympic??

China is now having good opportunity to put side USA. Because China is conducting olympic in his nation. So my question is, who will be the top in GOLD medal list?? Option's are China OR USA.

well i think china gonna be i want usa to be top but i think that china will reach 1st place because china almost have player in all sports starting from a to z , they have players in weightlifting,swimming,running almost everything you can think of so that makes them favourite normally however usa players are more talented then china china is only going to win because they have so much players in all sports types , but hopefully usa will make surprise

Hi friend, thanks for replying. It's true that they will win the gold medal more than American because they were now that much of strong as well. They practiced well in their home ground well so automatically they will do best in each and every event.

yr statemnt is wrng....is tht so bc china conducts the olympics they r winning?mind wat u say....they have t talent to win....but US will defnlty get more than china...

Hi friend be cool i am not blaming or else i am not teasing to the American's. I want the reply from you people who well known about the olympic closely. There is a reason that why i put this question infront of you people, because American players some of them are injury and substitute their candidates from this the China may get confident that the upcoming match will take them in better way and also their home town so it's possible that they all ready practiced hard in their stage.

Well, China definitely have the advantage as they are the host nation. They're used to the climate and have probably had use of the olympic facilities for longer than the other teams.
Added to that the fact that the Americans seem to be experiencing a lot of injuries and have had to substitute athletes at the last minute and it all stacks up in China's favour.
China and USA definitely have an advantage over other countries as they have much higher population numbers, and are able to pick from a larger pool of Athletes. To make the competition fairer I often think that larger countries should be made to compete as territories of that country. With the US most of their states are bigger than England, and are often run as independant countries almost, so why not make them enter separately?

Hi friend, Thanks for responding to my discussion. Whatever you mentioned is right. Because all ready so many of American players experinced injury and also substitutes. No doubt that China will be the highest Gold medal taker in this 2008 Olympic without fail. China all ready practiced well in their home ground. It's easy for them to achieve their goal.
