Ok, I am not trying to start a big arguement here.....
But, has anyone else seen the Womens Volley-ballTeams Uniform?
Then seen the Mens?
I think that the uniform that the men are wearing is perfect for the sport. Nice top and reasible shorts. The men look nice, and they look comforable.
The Women on the other hand are in a bikini they are tugging at here.. pulling it out of there... They do not look comfortable.. Why Can't the Women be dressed like the Men. In shorts and a nice tank top?
Does anyone else agree with me?

I totally agree with you.... but part of the reason why the sport is so popular is because of the lack of clothing. I know that sounds awful, but it's really true. Those girls are used to wearing those uniforms though, so it's not too big of a deal for them anymore. And I guess the fact that it's on a "beach" would make sense that they are wearing a bikini. It's pretty silly, and I would not like it if I had to wear it...

Thank you for the fast response. I am also very glad that you agree with me.
The guys are on the beach too... so I am not buying into that way of thinking. I just think that it is wrong.

I don't see many men at beaches wearing anything as skimpy or tight myself. HAHAHAHA!

Ok honestly, I think the women are wearing what they prefer to be wearing. If you look across sports this is the case. I ran on a college track team, and the men wore short shorts. And honestly I prefer shorter shorts for athletics. But the women actually preferred to wear buns or spankies or whatever you want to call them, which are basically the same as what volleyball players wear. It was a matter of preference. These are women that are comfortable with what they wear, and comfortable with their bodies. I don't see anything at all wrong about it.

I hate watching the womens beach volleyball due to those skimpy bikinies they were. It is absurd. But evidently it is the type of "uniform" all the women wear. I recall a few summer olympics ago that the women wore shorts and tank tops as a "uniform". What sexist man made the change I wonder?
