I'm a little cautious when it comes to lending things becuse sometimes the item is damaged or you dont get it back at all and sometimes people take advantage of your kindness have you ever had a bad experience after you landed somthing to someone if so did it change your mind about loaning things out?

Yeah ive had some bad experiences lending stuff to people. Like one time when I started my job I had a guy help me out for a few months or so and we became friends and I invited him to my house a few times and I lended him my smallville dvds and when he moved on I never heard from him again Which sucks because I do want my dvds back lol.

yup, i had that same-thing happen to me when i loaned my crossroads dvd to a friend and as time had past and i started to realise that she wasn't going to bring it back i finally had to ask for it back and when she gave it back i noticed that the nice shiny case the dvd came in was scratched up and the movie didn't play the same thats when i decided to stop loaning out my dvds, lol.

I've always had a problem with saying "no" to people when they borrow something. To be fair to those who do borrow my stuff, a lot of them return it in the same condition as when they borrowed it from me. However, there have been some who have borrowed stuff and returned it barely alive. Lol. Worse, some of them did not even bother returning my stuff.
It's irritating especially some of the unreturned stuff were expensive. Still, these instances have not stopped me from lending things out. Like I said earlier... it's so hard to say "no". I would always think, what if I was the one who needed something and was refused... So there.

i had a couple of bad experiences in loaning things. i have always been careful and choosy with whom i am loaning any of my things. as i take good care of my belongings, i expect the people who barrow them to do the same. when they don't i feel bad and get discouraged. then i tell myself "well, he/she doesn't know how to take care of things that is borrowed, then i wont lent her a second time around" hehe ^_^
