Adobe Photoshop is this the best picture editing software?

In my experience, the photo editing software programs that work best are the ones that you can figure out how to use. I have Photoshop but do not use it much, because I have not played around with it long enough to figure it out. Corel has a Photo-Paint program that I have been using longer (version 8) and have figured out more of how to manipulate images, but again, I feel that I have only scratched the surface on the programs capabilities. A simple program that I use is MGI Photosuite 8.1. This is a nice program because it is easy to figure out and does not have an overpowering number of complicated features. I suppose that the other consideration is: What do you want to use your photo editing program for?
