Half Blood Prince Release Date Pushed Back

The release date for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince has been moved from it's original November 21st, 2008 release all the way to July 17, 2009 - apparently to take advantage of an open weekend in the summer season. This will greatly increase the gap between movies 5 and 6, but lessen the gap between 6 and the two movies that will make up the seventh installment.
I can't believe it! I was SO looking forward to HBP in November - now I have to wait nearly a whole year! Stupid movie studios. Oh well. What are your thoughts?

My goodness... i just read the news article about it... i think the producers are getting money greedy... no matter when the movie will be shown... i think it will still make a lot of money... but they want more...
This is just an outrage... makin us wait more months just to see the film... so now i am having second thoughts if i would watch it or not...

My Husband and I did listen to the Half blood prince already. We got the Book on tape from the Library! I am really looking forward to seeing it. I would rather not have to wait longer, but what else can I do?
I love all the special effects that they use in all the Harry Potter movies. They are worth waiting for!

Ugh. I dont like that at all. Thats to long to wait for another Harry Potter movie.

That is to bad. My kids were looking forward to seeing it in november. They love harry potter. My daughter watches one of the movies from the series everyday.
