Only a month as far as I understand, not sure yet. The Military will probably only let him know last minute if he is boarding a plane or not. Well at least it's only been 4 months, and he's getting paid well for it. If this happens we may be able to afford that vacation after all. I don't understand exactly why he's being detained, something about their are not enough men to put on a plane home. I know he has become a very valuable person over there, voluntold to do a job and having been noticed for how well he does it. I really shouldn't complain. I know there are many military families who haven't seen each other a lot longer than that but he's going to be deployed again in January, and he's coming home so late in the year that New York is not the nicest place to be. Anyway just feeling lonely and needed to vent. But that's life when you marry a military man.
