I sing with my grandson in the car

Yep I do with my kids. Could you picture driving around with 7 if they all got bored. The number plate on is good with the older and the younger pick and count

You are lucky - grandsons are best companion and friend at old age - I have grandson (a little 1 yr. boy of nephew of my wife) he press keyboard when I visit myLot and look on monitor after a keypress, I kept a false keyboard at side of my working one but he understand it and do not touch it. When I saw him face of my beautiful mylot friend - he say Anti come on.

When my kids were small and we used to take trips to see my family (11-12 hour drive), we always played games if we were driving during daylight hours. Their favorite was each one would pick a color and count the cars they saw in that color. Another was counting VW's. They would say "beep" when they saw one. One day my daughter says "beep, beep, beep, beep" and starts laughing. We were passing a VW dealership. We had a lot of fun on those trips, and it made time pass for them. We also played "I spy" and enjoyed that. Since I can't carry a tune in a bucket, I usually stayed away from singing. LOL.

We usually carry nursery rhymes cds and multiplication tables while on car trip.I sing those while making funny faces and my kids love to sing along.I think its fun.

I used to when they where little lol now I don't think they want to anymore I wonder why they are only 19 and 22 Yes I used to and when I eventually have Grandchildren I will probably with them to

I used to when our son was younger and also still do it now when we have friends' children in the car with us. When they are young it is a great way to teach them things, without the child ever realising what you are doing. LOL Sometimes they come up with a question that I cannot answer and I will tell them that, so that when we get to wherever we are going we can look and both learn about whatever it is they wanted to know. Children can be easily distracted and so need something to keep them occupied when driving any distance at all, so any of these activities are good. It also makes it easier for the driver not to be distracted by those endless questions of "when will be there". :)

I don't have kids, but I still play I spy and sing in the car on long trips. The first time I did it on a trip with my boyfriend he thought I was insane, but he started to love it too. It's so much fun.

You must look good at the traffic lights when you are singing...I must watch out for you.:o
