I caught a policeman!

Last Monday, we accompanied my sister to school in her school service, and suddenly at the middle of the trip. A policeman followed us without any violations we can think of. The go signal is on, nothing more. He suddenly threatened the school service driver that he'll give him a ticket accusing him of reckless driving. Like "hello"?? He wasn't. We know that. At first that policeman said, the stop light was on but no... we saw it was green and so he threatened the driver. My mom works under the government but it was too late because that damn policeman took 200 Philippine pesos from the driver as bribe. But he didn't commit any crime breaking the law. Then that policeman ran away as fast as he can riding his motorcycle. I didn't have the chance to get his plate number or the name because he suddenly disappeared!! Have you experienced this situation? I was so disappointed then and so upset about that policeman of what he did! Won't you be?

I did saw one traffic officer being bribed by a jeepney driver..the driver had threw a money at the street so it would not be that obvious..that is stupid because how will traffic violations be controlled if our policemen and traffic officers are always being bribed..law violators will not learn..also if a policeman has asked for a "kotong" be sure to remember that policeman's face and if you have a chance get their names and report them to proper authorities..

and it's not the plain fault of the drivers. Sometimes these policemen, make up stories and untrue accusations just to have kotong and tongpats! tsk2

yup, i think your right, if there weren't the drivers or anyone who didn't start these briberies, there won't be any of these that are happening.

I hate the authorities. They are very abusive of their positions. And it's also very sad that some people are ignorant of laws in our country. They end up giving some of their hard earned cash to very stupid and useless authorities. Well, I have experienced that many times. In another way though. But my father knew everything and he knew he did nothing wrong. So he refused to pay and eventually most of these guys end up walking away, unsuccessful of their stupid attempts. Haha.
