how do you organize your bags/purses?

i bought this purse organizer from home depot a couple of months ago, the belt kinda thing that you hang on the door. it has 18 plastic rods where you can hang your purses/bags. but after sometime, the rod breaks by one and now all my pursses are on the floor. i live in a very small apartment, so i cant afford to put my bags on huge plastic containers,its too space consuming. i have more than a dozen and i dunno now how to organize these things.
