What do you put in there?

sketch - This one is not all mine, actually. It was scanned from a sketch that my son did, and I decided to play with it and add a few filter. It's part of a bigger image that we actually printed and it's in my son's room.

In the photos part of your profile. I don't usually post any personal photos. An habit I got quite some time ago when I learned all that can be done with any image:) So I wouldn't be posting any photos of of me or my family. Still I wanted to put something there. Since one of my hobbies= and one of the things I enjoy more - is working with images, changing them, mix them, transform them into something else. I thought a good idea would be to post the result of my work in there. This way I can show it to others and even get some comments on them that can make me better my work. I had uploaded a few images right when I first started in myLot, but today I decided to upload more, specially of my personal work, including scans of sketches and watercolors. It' supposed to be my profile after all, and a showcase of whatever I would like to put there. What about you? What do you put in you photo section?

Well, I do not mind having a picture of me in my Profile that is also on my profile for a lot of other sites and such online as well. To me, I enjoy having people knowing who they are looking at, and feel that it is a Great way for people to know that this is the real me. If I was doing drawings and such, I would not want to be posting them online much unless I had a Copyright on there I never had to worry about someone going in and stealing it for their own. But for me, I enjoy having time to display some information more about ourselves thru a picture or something, and even from other pictures we can post online in here about other things in our life as well. Just need to remember that myLot does not pay us for these photos, so some people choose to include these in their discussions and such instead.

I don't mind either, but I prefer not to. It's an old habit :) I'm sure people have a chance to know the real me by my responses and discussions so it's ok. My drawings = at least the ones I post - are created to share. I have no problem that people use them. It's what they're made for. As for myLot paying for them or not, it is not important for me, I am paid for many other things in here. The photo area is just for sharing, for other members to look at them and enjoy. I often include images in discussions, but it really depends on the time I have because I usually make them for whatever it is that I am discussing, so if I don't have much time here, then I don't add an image.

I do not think I have even put anything in there. Maybe, but I doubt it. I would be more like you, and showcase my talents, if I had any to showcase. I could post an album of local flowers, though.

Hey Twin I didn't know you do that lol My Photos are mainly of Gissi I don't know what I have in there at the moment lol but my Photo Section is normally covered with Gissi lol does that tell you something

well i did uploaded some photos of my own and my daughter too..and some sceneries which i like most and found interesting...and im planning to upload other photos of my daughter and my family as well ..that is if i got some time to do it..

I am not photogenic and so I seldom take pictures. I prefer to use some pictures which are unique and it may not be relevant to me. However, this is time consuming and I prefer to do without. LOL.

Yes, some people don't use that space at all. Specially if they don't really have any images that they would want to post. Personal pictures I tend not to post, but my own stuff is ok :)

Thanks for the reminder, as I need to put more stuff there. I recen tly took a picture of my shadow that I turned into an art shot and that would be perfect to post as it is my self portrait but does not show an identifiable features.

It came out great :) Like you, I prefer not to post my own photographs on the webb. But something like that, is fine and to top it of it looks good :) I think those things show more who we are than any plain photo:)

I never really thought much about what photos to put there. I guess I must relook at my profile to see how I can maximize the page to make it better. Hmm... loading more pictures in the photo section eh? That would mean going through my collection again.
