leading on a guy: okay or not okay?

i know a lot of ladies out there that like leading on a guy even if they do not have any intentions of having a relationship with guy expect for friendship for the the of companionship. will you consider this as a form of cheating that person? is it okay or not okay? guys out there what is your say on this? would like the the ladies to lead you on than to hurt your feelings of being turned down?

hai, i am not preaching , but it is bad to lead on a guy as you may end up hurting him or making him angry ... just immagine how hurtfull it would be for you if the same has been done towards you ... You will definatly feel the pain, it is the same with the guys .. they too have heart and feelings ...

hi friend. for me, it's not okay. just the other day, this is what a friend and i have been talking about. there is this guy who have been asking me out since december last year but i look at him as a friend, not a potential boyfriend material so i keep on refusing. He always chats with me but that's it. I make it clear to him that we are just friends because if i say yes to his invites, it's like i am leading him on. I know, i will feel great, even for a short while because of the attention that i am getting, but i believe in the long run, this will not be good, for both of us. I know some other women thrive with attention and attention is great but in the end, someone's feelings will get hurt.
this is my 2 cents.. hahahaha...

i totally agree with you friend that will will not do any good to the both of you if you kept on leading on him. he will just expect that one day the two of will become an item and if you eventually tell him that there is no chance he will be hurt. thanks for the post and for the friendship!!! :)

I don't think that it is good for a girl to lead on a guy. I have never done that and I just don't think that is right.
