Always Be My Baby: which version?

Right after David Cook's fresh take on Mariah Carrey's "Always be my baby" on American Idol, his verion bacame widely popular. I personally think Cook's version is great, it never ossured to me that thye song could be real good until i heard his version.
Whcich v ersion do you prefer?

i prefer david cook's version. he classically sung it with pride and it turned out good. really!

Oh i've heard the mariah version but not his version i don't watch tv that much but i shall find it listen to it and post back shortley.
