Best gift that you gave to your lover?

Everyone of us must have exchanged gifts when in love. What do you think could be the best gift that can be given to our lover? Whats the reason? Whats so special about that gift??
I just feel that a letter would satisfy everything. Thats what I consider as best. I should spend my time and effort for the person I love. Just getting a greeting card will not satisfy me. How do you think??

i think the best gift you could give is your heart i mean the whole thing because with me when im with somebody i mean yea they get some of it but once i know that there the one i will let them know that i love them and that i have fully opend my whole heart to them

I think the best gift I could give to my partner is my love itself. If love is there then everything follows. :-)

I think there's several gifts you can give to the one you love. You can give yourself fully and completely, heart, body and mind. Getting married and sharing vows with that one is a wonderful gift. Creating a child together is the greatest gift of all. You're taking part of yourself and part of them and creating something so beautiful. That's a miracle all on it's own.
Materialistic objects don't matter, it's the priceless gifts that last forever.

The best gift you could give your lover is nothing. Because there is nothing on this planet that you could give someone. Say heart is only a cliche in my mentality, and it cannot be literally given to someone, unless they need a heart transplant. Material gifts don't last forever. The best thing that could be given, is your word.
