Do you view the Discussion at My lot in a casual manner or seriously to make up your mind to post response. To me one must go through the full discussion then make up mind to post a response. It will help ever one to make a good qualitative response. If you take it seriously and read the discussion thoroughly you can retrieve lot of Ideas to post a new discussion based on the contents of the discussion you go through. Discussions are not always ready to be posted. It require some time to compose it. First of all you have to find a slogan for the discussion and then to put reasonable contents in the discussion to make it more attractive. Most of the people just see the slogan of the discussion and start writing response and while responding they forget the contents on which they are responding. Come friends let us go through the discussions thoroughly which we like and then respond it. Thank u.

i read what the person who has started the discussion wrote, to be able to write a response, most times you need to read what they have said, or rather to write a good response. There are times though that i have found it wasn't necessary to read everything the person wrote and i have been able to write a response, with length, just based off the questions that were asked

Thank you rbailey, From your opinion I think it your IQ and deep vision that you understand the contents of the discussion from having a look at the start of the discussion and the conclusion. You can really be a good writer and commentator.

Ya what you say is true. Many will just read the topic and start responding without knowing the exact content. Thats the reason I try to make the topic more impressive for people to check. If they enter into a particular topic, mostly they will respond to it. Hehe. But I do really take the contents seriously. I read each and every line. I just admire the way they have posted and will try to follow that in my discussion. This is not copying. Just trying to take good things from others. Hehe. Have fun mylotting.

What I really dislike are those discussions where the title is longer than the post! You know the ones I mean - they ask the question in the heading and don't tell us their own opinion, but just post "What u think?" underneath it. I am also surprised how many people don't use the preview and edit option and let their discussion post appear without having checked it for errors. I always take time and give some thought before I post a new discussion.

I like to get the idea of what the person has posted before I start to respond. I like to make sure that my response is going to make sense with the question of topic. It is really only fair to the person asking. I like to think of what I would like to say especially if the subject content holds a big interest with me.
