Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell, who took over Heath's role in The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, have donated their paycheck's to Heath's daughter Matilda, according to the director, Terry Gilliam.
Ledger had not added Matilda to his will at the time of his death - not uncommon for young parents - so no provisions have been set aside for Matilda.
What do you think of this? And does it remind you to be sure you update your will?
I think it's a wonderful thing they've done.

i think its cool of them. first they step in to do the role, which after Heath passed must have been hard for everyone on the set, and then they donate their money to Matilda. i mean i really dont think Matilda is going to need any money or is going to have any problems with money but still its a nice gesture and a nice way to pay respects to Heath, who by the way, was great in Batman.

He was AMAZING in Batman, which I finally got to see Saturday.
I don't think Matilda really needs the money either; I'm sure the family will want Heath's daughter taken care of. But it's an awesome gesture.

Wow. I think that what they did was really nice. It sucked that he had to die so young and that his daughter wasn't included in his will but these actors are just wonderful. It shows how nice they are and how mucht they think of others.
