I've been browsing some of the discussions on here, and I was just wondering if anyone is of the Reformed faith and studies the teachings of the Bible as well as the writings of John Piper, R.C. Sproul, John MacArthur, or Allistar Begg? I'd be interested to engage in discussion with anyone who's doctrine and theology are similar to mine!

Well, I referred to those men because I've learned so much more about the Bible as a result of their preachings and teachings. Yes, I am a Christian, and strive to follow Jesus as the only way not only to heaven, but as the only satisfaction and joy to be found in this life. When I referred to Reformed Christianity, I'm speaking of the Protestant Reformation - are you familiar? These men are seeking to expound the truth of the Word of God. The specific doctrine I was alluding to is the Doctrine of Grace. This means that I believe that God irrisitibly draws people to Himself, that man is inherently sinful and lost without God's saving grace in his or her life. This website http://www.grace.org.uk/faith/calvin.html offers a good explaination of what I'm trying to say. I apologize for the incoherancy of my explaination - I hope I at least made a little sense to you!

I have been listening to John MacArthur on the radio for years now. I have learned a lot from him. I have never heard of the other two but will be looking them up o the web. There are also a lot of others I like. From reading your responses I think my doctrine and theology are similar to yours.
