I am sure this is in response to the fact that McCain was recently sued for using Jackson Brown's song "Running on Empty", and he has been warned by people like John Mellencamp not to use his songs again, or he would be hearing from his lawyers. It is good that McCain can find someone to write a song for him, I have never heard of John Rich, but I am sure he will be paid well for his work. I was very surprised to hear Toby Keith support Obama though, I guess you never know about some people.

Let's see now. As to music we have a vile rapper's ode to Obama and now this song in support of John McCain. No contest. McCain wins in the music category!

I haven't heard the vile rapper song for Obama yet, but the song by John Rich had me tapping my foot. I think he has done a great job with it.

If the song made you tap your foot you wouldn't like the Obama song, and besides it really slams McSame so I'm guessing you really wouldn't like it all.

I love it. I wish I were an American so I could vote for him. Any one who is the hero of a country and western song gets my approval. It will be a hit for sure! It will be at the top of the charts! I will also be looking for the video shoot of the song. I wonder if it will be on Youtube?
