Micheal Phelps is truly amazing!

Micheal Phelps is now the most decorated American Athlete ever. He is truly amazing,to have the stamina and the strength to beat the worlds best in world record time every time. Which is precisely what he set out to do. As Hannibal used to say on the A Team, "I love it when a plan comes together." The way that he pushed himself and worked to beat as many records as he could and to be all that he wanted to be, he truly earned the right to call himself the Very Best.
He also said in an interview with Tom Brokaw that he had just bought a pool in Baltimore an was planning some programs for underpriveledged kids there. I think that this is a great celebration of the sport he loves and the search for the next great Phelps.

No doubt he is really a sportsman, who with decdicationm, hard work and commitment get the attention of whole world and set new records
And as u r sauing is is getting pool for Underpreviliged kids, its really a tribute to sportt as well as to Society

For a "superstar" he really is a real person, that he has heart we can clearly see from his performance in the olympics. From the looks of it it is not all just about him all the time either.

You are correct, absolutely amazing. His training and discipline seemed to make him function like a perfectly tuned machine with heart.
His fame has landed him in some new territory, though. When I saw the Sports Illustrated picture, I was thinking - he needs a manager!

Yeah... and it is so good, the way he swims...
and it is not so easy, to thread on water with all that stroke, and he is one good athlete.

He is fantastic. He is also an inspiration for all kinds of people. Not only swimmers but athletes in other disciplines, and for us in general. He set a goal, he took it to the olympics, and he smashed it!

My friends and me both think he is a great swimmer and we are glad for all his wins . He worked his bum off to get where he is , good for him , and all his success ! He seems like a nice guy too . I loved watching him

He has certainly earned the noteriety and the rewards that are being heaped at his feet. I just saw him on Jay Leno and he mentioned that the $1 million dollar bonus that he got from Speedo for winning all of those medals he has given to a charity with his name that promotes healthy living and athletics in general and swimming.
