Ok well I'm sick right now... and yeah it's not fun, I get so dizzy when I move, I barely made it to the daycare to drop my son off, so he could be cared for... If you are sick, do you have people there to help you out? What do you usually do when being sick? For me I had to call into work it was that bad, I ususally sleep, read, write, watch some tv, just plain rest as much as I can so my body can fight what is going on in my body. *which I had learned last year is the reason you feel so down is cause your own body is trying to get rid of what is inside* So I feel like I can't breath, it feels like I breathed in water, and got it out and it's like a few days later where it is sore... and my headache won't go away, my eyes water and my nose is stuffy, and it hurts to cough. So I'm not having the best of days :( Hoping everyone elses day is going much better

Shawchert - Yes, I have a similar experience. You already know that feeling sick, slows you down, which helps your body recover. You mentioned that you only get sick once in awhile, but when you get sick, you get sick! I had three kids when I developed strep throat. I had a high fever and was dizzy. I asked my ex to drive me to the doctors and he refused. He told me I had to drive myself and told me not to take the good car, in case I had an accident! I hate calling in sick, it never looks good on a job record. but, I have to remember it's better to stay home, rather than go to work, and get everyone else sick. If you continue with your symptoms, you might get stuck seeing the doctor, even though it's more than 1/2 hour away. I'm sure this won't happen, but it's better than letting your illness go untreated, and ending up in the ER!

omg your ex is horrible!!! that was the worst thing I would ever want to hear!! and yes I know how you feel about calling in, I hate it myself, I had to call in last week too due to my son's fever and no one else could watch him. If I get too much worse the ER is closer . more expensive, but at least it's walking distance! *can't wait to get into hte hospital that's closeby*

Oh you poor thing, it's awful isn't it? I'm really ill myself and have been for some time with M.E., fibromyalgia, a weak immune system and all the rest! Luckily my partner is really supportive and takes care of me. He makes me my food and brings me my painkillers. I've had a migraine for the last four days though and my Mr. accidently dropped a laptop power pack on my ankle and now it's swollen up and sore! I'm feeling very sorry for myself! Pamper and look after yourself and I hope you feel better soon.

I'm very glad your man is helping you look after yourself :D That's always a good thing *cept for the powercord OW* I don't know what I have, I don't think it is serious enough for the dr. because mine is like half an hour away till I can get this new one. But I wish you the best of luck, and put some ice on that ankle ;) My immune system is strong so when I get sick... i REALLY get sick, and it's not fun at all.
