I'm going to keep this short since I am having to type one-handed due to surgery (also the reason I haven't been around in a while)so here goes. In the following article you will read exactly what I have maintained throughout my time of political discussions here on MyLot and that is that BHO brings absolutely nothing but charisma to the table! I'll let the article speak for itself and everyone else speak for themselves, thank you! http://www.newsmax.com/morris/obama_new_jimmy_carter/2008/08/20/123638.html

The linked article makes an excellant point that Obama who could not even call the Clinton's bluff to protect his nominating convention from their influence can hardly be expected to deal adequately with either Putin or Islamic terrorists, both of whom are much more ruthless and dangerous than the Clintons. There is too much at stake in the world to let the inept Obama be Commander in Chief.

Redyellowblackdog, I was reading Ladylunas' discussion on the "October surprise" and I gotta say there may well be a surprise and it might just come in August!

She is one smart lady and is much likely to be right than wrong.

Excellent article. Thank you. The comparison to the start of WWII is truly scary I have also point out his weakness in this situation. Charisma can be a very dangerous gift in the wrong person. Hitler was also very charismatic.

I can't belive things in America are really so bad that people are seriously comparing the upcoming election / Obama to Hitler and the beginging of WWII

Jend, The comparison was to the indifference BHO showed being quite the same as the indifference shown when Hitler started his rampage, that's all. One question; do you think Hitler could have persuaded the Germans to follow him into genocide of the Jewish people if he weren't very Charismatic? Charisma can be a fantastic attribute but it can also be very dangerous in the wrong hands!

Whiteheather, Thanks for the comment! I agree, charisma in the wrong hands can be a disaster especially if the person weilding it has a specific agenda such as what the case was with Hitler!

Rodney I was wondering where you got off too. I started to worry that you had gotten feed up with MyLot and walked away from it. I hope you recover from you surgery. Now onto the article. I liked the part towards the bottom that addressed Obama as an over-intellectualizing Hamlet. Now that would be something I would not have come up with, but works. Obama has no clue how to deal properly with the Clintons, almost like how he did not know how to deal with Rev. Wrong. If I was Obama or Obama's puppet master, I would tell the Clintons where to put it. I would tell Hill and Bill that I won the nomination and get over it. Right or wrong Obama still won the nomination and Hillary lost. If Obama cannot figure out how to deal with the Clintons or those crazy friends of his, how will Obama deal with countries like Russia, Iran, and others?

Gewcew, Thanks for the well wishes! I agree, there is no fathomable situation in which I could concievably put BHO in the drivers seat of the most powerful nation in th world. His gross inexperience rears its head at every turn!

I don't think that he is much of a doer or a leader. Everything I have seen suggests that he has taken a lot of credit for work that others have doe and he only played a small part in. As far as leadership goes, he would be Congress' dream come true... an obedient servant who follows their orders.
