personally speaking, i love the job i currently have. it is not always taxing although there are few isolated instances that the day is really toxic. but, given the opportunity to leap, then i will probably grab a new advanced career. same line but i would rather try with a specialization. i want to become a coronary care nurse someday and become a consultant when i reach an older age. with the wage i receive at a constant rate and the increasing cost of living that seems uncontrollable, then that makes me unsatisfied about it. how about you?

I was a teacher before I quit to look after my daughter. I did not miss it at all. My job requires me to be in school at 7am and I'm usuallu home after 4 or 5 in the afternoon. it was taxing. We do not only teach, we are child care takers, police officers (catch students smoking), counsellors (when they have problems), admin workers and many more. It leaves me exhausted every day. I knew I would have no time for my daughter so I quit. When she is older, I may look for another job, but nothing related to teaching.

i am still a student so i dont know much about working. But the usual trend is to try and get promoted as soon as possible. if you get a job you like then most people even me would tend to go to a higher rank or try to get promoted.
