Extreme? or Stupid?

I was just watching a show on Animal Planet. 5 people at a rodeo went into a rodeo ring to try and win $200. They were supposed to sit at a card table while the rodeo folks let a bull into the ring. The last person sitting would win the money. Little did they know that it was a Mexican fighting bull. Now I don't know anything about Mexican fighting bulls, but the narrator said that they were bred specifically for fights. Anyway this bull charged into the ring and just tore into these people. They were lucky to escape with their lives, frankly, and the guy who won the $200 got half his face torn off. Not only can't I believe that somebody did this for $200 but I'm surprised the rodeo didn't get sued. The people probably signed waivers, but still. Am I the only one who things that this was incredibly stupid?

I missed that one but that was stupid, and $200 isn't enough money to loose your life for . None is for that reason. People do stupid things I admit.

No more stupid than the running of the bulls, or wild horse saddling contest, wild cow milking contests, etc. They do have to sign a waiver so that they can not hold the rodeo company responsible for any damages or injuries. Is it stupid, well yeah, is it extreme, you bet, to go to that extreme to win a few bucks. But there are plenty who have attempted this type of poker game, and will continue to enter these types of contests. I have personally known many guys that entered the wild horse saddling contests, to get kicked, bit, and thrown off if they make it on to the horse. However there is a secret to that one, grab hold and bite the horses ear, and don't let up til they have the saddle and rider on the horse, you just might win. lol

If you know how, that's one thing. The woman who was in that ring had no experience whatsoever!

Beyond incredibly stupid. Some people will do anything for a little bit of money. The people were crazy; the bull ring was crazy. Someone could have been killed. It is amazingly irresponsible.
