HI to all, My BM is very regular. I am 34 years old. Eat healthy food. More Vegies than meat. Recently I have noticed, that every time I ate a cup of rice the next day I get constipated. Its does not matter how many glass of water i drunk along with eating rice. So the same goes with Beef meat. If i do ate beef today, the next day my i would get constipated. Sometimes, if I do force myself to strain I bleed. Like I said taking some stool softener does not help or hydrating myself with lots of liquid drinks. So i tried an experiment. I did not consumed rice and beef for 2 days. I ate more vegies, next day my BM was regular. I didn't have to push or strain. Does anyone has the same experience?

Can't say that I have really ever [aid attention. I am lucky to not have problems with such things. Sounds like you just need to keep a very high fiber diet. Have you tried adding yogurt to your diet to help move things along better?

I tried that too but it doesn't seem to help, besides psssst it's very expensive way to treat constipation. The only way I can do is to avoid to eat rice. I love rice and i grew up eating rice. For some reason my body does not accept it anymore.

How is .50/per day - if that - expensive? You can eat any yogurt with active cultures. The best type is the kind that doesn't have any high fructose sugars in them. You may want to try apples. My hubby says that always does the trick for him. Apples have a ton of fiber.
