A cat in China over the summer has "sprouted" wings. I have attached the picture. Here is the fully story: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,411741,00.html So what do you think? Did this cat actually grow a pair of wings? Could they just be 2 tumors that happen to sprout that way? Mats of fur (I would hope that a Vet checked this cat out and figure that is wasn't fur)?

hmmm this is probably just a case of excess skin. this isn't the first of its kind as i've read about a similar case many years ago. it was published in a book about mysterious occurrences. it was a black cat (which looks like a british shorthair) and it has wings similar to the picture, but it was just excess skin i think. it may look like wings or may be shaped like wings, but unless it has bone structure at least such as in a chicken's wings (since chickens can't fly either) then i don't think it's anything more than just excess skin (and fur).
