Somebody stole my plant

Ok this is just strange. I asked my daughter to bring my squash plant around to the front of the house from the side of the house. It is in a contaner (nothing fancy mind you just plastic). Well she came back and said it wasn't there. So then I look in the garage to see if it didn't get taken back out after Fay left here. It is not in there either! My only conclusion is that somebody stole it......WHY??? The only people who would really see it are the yard people when they were here the other day I am already mad at them cause they intentionally and deliberatly broke the trellis I had made out of bamboo for my plants to climb up on (made like a teepee and it was held together with mighty putty which is an epoxy type material that is extremly strong) and the weedwacked down my 4 oclocks. the neighbors wouldn't have taken them cause they would have taken them long before now if they were going too and besides they don't have time for plants nor interest in them.
So where is my squash plant?????

Do you think my bird seed-napper made it all the way from Ohio to Florida?
I never did figure out who/what took the whole bag of bird seed from my porch without busting open and leaving a single seed.

I wonder if it is posbbile it might have blown away in the storm. We had a tornado here in March and the storm picked up a 50 pound composter full of cut grass and blew it apart. We found pieces of it like 50 yards away. Storms can be powerful if they get cranked up. We got hit by Fay too but ninety per cent of it was rain by the time it got here. We think we are going to get hit by Hanna also.

Nah the plant was in the garage during Fay. Where are you located? I have been watching Gustav so closely I forgot about the other two storms out there. We didn't put the plants out of the garage till well after Fay was over.

Wow!!! There must be someone around there who really likes squash. I wonder who would steal a plant. Maybe someone was hungry? I don't know, but it does make for an interesting story. Thanks for sharing it with all of us, and I hope that someone brings it back, replaces it, or leaves a huge pile of squash (seeds) on your doorstep, so you'll eat for a while, and maybe grow a new plant.

I would be so annoyed. Yet another reason why most of my "gardens" are the indoor type. I don't think we have any neighbors like that, but my plants are my little green babies and if one turned up missing, someone would not be a happy camper here.
