Wow,did these prices go up!

Wow. I went into a convienence store yesterday to pick up some milk, and I felt hungry for some choclate so I started to browse through the candy bars.It wasn't long before I noticed the prices! &1.09 for a darn snickers bar! This shocked me! I guess it's been awhile since I bought one but this seems unbelievable! I am shocked at how much things have gone up in prices, even compared to one year ago! I feel like my grandmother now saying this but, I remember when a candy bar was only 55 cents! This all got me thinking about prices to everything.And, as I was food shopping last night I found myself comparing everything to back when I was growing up and how expensive everything really is! What things do you see that have sky-rocketed in price? What kinds of prices do you remember as compared to today? No wonder my mothers food orders were twice the size of mine!
