Do you read the classifieds ?

I have a friend who told me he always reads the classifieds and comes up with some great bargains and lots of very interesting things from time to time. So, do you read the classifieds or just run through them ? Have you ever found anything of value in the classifieds ?

The classifieds can be awesome if you really need something (like furniture) but you don't have much money. You can get some great bargains. I've bought a few things from classifieds, but not for a very long time.
